Durham attorney disbarred in sexual harassment case

DURHAM According to published reports, Bob Brown Jr. was sued by three women in 2007.

The lawsuit said Brown made sexual comments to the women and inappropriately touched them around their waists and shoulders.

Superior Court Judge Orlando F. Hudson Jr. suspended Brown in December 2005 after one woman sought to have Brown removed.

Brown resigned a week later.

Brown was also reprimanded by the N.C. Bar in 1996 after he pleaded no contest to a charge of assaulting a female by touching her buttocks.
