Sheriff Hubert Peterkin says Aniceto abducted minors from school bus stops from September 2008 to January 2009. A total number of victims was not provided.
In a release issued by the sheriff's office, Peterkin said Aniceto would kidnap a minor from the bus stop while they waited for school. He would then take the child to a hotel in Lumberton, Red Springs or Fayetteville.
Once at the hotel, authorities say the suspect would rape the minor and then take them to school.
According to the release, additional arrest warrants will be issued against Aniceto.
Aniceto is being held in the Hoke County Jail under an $80,000 bond.
