The incident reportedly happened between Jan 20, 2003 and March 1, 2003.
Investigators say the child did not tell anyone about the incident because Vanord's camper was parked on property owned by the girl's grandparents. Vanord allegedly told the girl he would hurt her family if she told.
Vanord is charged with taking indecent liberties with a child, crimes against nature and first-degree statutory sex offense.
He is being held under a $30,000 bond. Vanord is scheduled to make his first court appearance today.
