Pedestrian hit, injured by car

Durham Police are investigating a car accident involving a pedestrian.The accident happened at 11:06 p.m. on Friday at the intersection of Pettigrew Street and Mangum Street.

The victim a 45-year-old woman was transported to Duke Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police are not releasing her name at this time.

Investigators are currently searching for the vehicle that struck the victim.
