A woman is wanted for injuring a soldier in a hit-and-run. On March 26 around 2:45 p.m., Fayetteville Police say Lisa Diane Parrish of Southern Pines was traveling on Murchinson Road near Pamalee Dr. when she hit a motorcycle driven by David Chesier.

Chesier, a Fort Bragg soldier, suffered extensive leg injuries, but the injuries are not life-threatening. Police say Parrish abandoned her Chrysler Lebaron and fled the scene on foot.

She is wanted for felony hit-and-run, failure to yield to the right of way causing serious injury and open container. Police say she is also wanted on a separate charge of probation violation.
