Man shot in back in Durham

DURHAM Investigators say 52-year-old Donald Ray Scott was found in a pickup truck on the Fayetteville Street bridge over the Durham Freeway. He'd been shot in the back.

Investigators arrested Derrick Eugene Williams, 24, of Linwood Avenue on Saturday and charged him with murder.

Williams is in the Durham County Jail without bond.

Investigators said the shooting followed an argument and did not appear to be a random incident.
