Local store donates to Jimmy V

CARY Whole Foods Market donated 5 percent of its total sales on Tuesday to the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic for Cancer Research.

Customers at the Cary store also had the chance to meet officials from the golf classic and find out how research money is being used while at the store.

This year's classic is August 16 at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on NC State's Centennial Campus.
