RALEIGH --
Hillsborough Street was closed between Pullen and Chamberlin streets in Raleigh due to a gas leak Thursday. The leak, which was caused by construction work, was near the intersection of Enterprise and Hillsborough streets. Raleigh police say some businesses in the immediate area were evacuated as a precaution.
The roads have now been reopened and people have been allowed to return to work.
