Soldier accused of setting flea market fire

FAYETTEVILLE Fayetteville police told Eyewitness News that SBI and arson investigators had to be called to the Bragg Boulevard Flea Market Saturday before noon.

Fort Bragg soldier Greg LeBlanc is facing charges for the suspicious fire.

Authorities said the fire began in some storage units at the flea market. They said LeBlanc was trying to burn items in his girlfriend's storage space. Most of the property inside was destroyed.

The market was open at the time of the fire, but no one was hurt.

The flea market has since been reopened.
