Monday the Southern Pines Police Department told Eyewitness News it has a photo of 20-year-old Ciro Salinas, who they believe abducted her.
Police are not releasing the photo because of its poor quality.
They say they do not know what Valazquez's relationship is to Salinas.
Velazquez is about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
She has a birth mark on the right calf. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and high heel shoes.
Salinas is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He also has black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black dress pants and black shoes.
Salinas allegedly took Velazquez shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday from the National Guard Armory on West Morganton Road in Southern Pines.
