The application process is different from last year.
"This is a change from previous years," said ESC Chairman Moses Carey Jr. "In the past, people applied for State Fair jobs at our temporary office on the fairgrounds. To better accommodate the high volume of jobseekers, we are asking those interested in these jobs to come by our Wake County offices. In addition, we are extending the time allowed to apply for the various positions available."
Applications will be accepted in the ESC office in Raleigh, 3351 Carl Sandburg Court, and, at the Cary location, 742-F East Chatham Street.
The ESC will accept Fair job applications through October 23. Applicants should apply in-person at the ESC offices listed and reference Job Order Number: NC 7267092.
This year's State Fair runs October 15-25.
