Police said the masked suspect is described as a white man with a medium build who stands about 6 feet 2 inches tall.
He was wearing a black coat and a black knit hat and was armed with a handgun.
A witness told Eyewitness News that two customers were inside the bank when the suspect came in screaming, pulled a gun and told the customers to get down.
They said the man then pointed the gun at the customers and teller. He had a bag in his left hand and demanded money. The witness said the suspect got the money and took off on foot.
