Family and friends gathered Sunday to honor Young's memory -- just as they've done each year since her death.
Her husband remains the focus of the investigation and a civil judge ruled he killed Young.
Loved ones are hoping for a conviction by the end of the year. "I hope it's done by year end," Young's co-worker Carol Nelson said. "I don't want to wait until next year!"
"I have the patience, because we want a conviction," another friend said.
Young's friends say they plan to return every year to honor her.
