Sheriff: Club shooting was robbery gone bad

HILLSBOROUGH

Investigators say it appears 19-year-old Samuel Saveerdra was in the wrong place at the wrong time when he was shot to death on January 2 at the Platinum Royale Club in Hillsborough.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office says Saveerdra and two other people were shot when several people entered the club and demanded money from customers and employees.

So far, there have been no arrests in the case.
