Detectives charged 39-year-old Timothy Browning of Parkton with punching an autistic child repeatedly in the face. He was arrested Wednesday.
Investigators say Browning struck the girl in the face multiple times, leaving her with a black eye.
Browning is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to make a first court appearance today.
