April 2, the park debuts Intimidator 305 - what it claims is the tallest and fastest roller coaster on the East Coast.
At a whopping 305 feet tall, the first drop will whip you around the steel track at maximum speeds of 92 mph.
Named for famed NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt, Kings Dominion has invested $25 million in the project. The trains, fashioned after Dale Earnhardt’s signature black car, will roar through six humps and three high-speed turns.
