Curtis Ray Lee, 24, of 4613 Hidden Hollow Lane, is charged with murder.
Investigators said they got a call about a shooting at the Hidden Hollow address around 9:30 Tuesday evening. They found 21-year-old James Anthony Williams badly wounded.
Emergency workers took him to WakeMed where he later died.
Deputies said Lee was being held without bond.
