Three teens charged in drive-by shooting

DURHAM

Officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Dearborn Dr. at 12:41 p.m. Tuesday and found 25-year-old Jermaine Jackson with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries Wednesday afternoon.

Approximately an hour after the shooting, officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Gray Ave. The car matched the description of the vehicle used in the shooting on Dearborn Dr. Four males were arrested at or near the scene.

Three are charged in connection with the shooting. Willie Jackson, 16, of Wake Forest, 18-year-old Neiko Malloy and 16 year-old Saquan Facyson, both of Durham, were charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Those charges were expected to be upgraded following the death of Jackson.

A fourth person, 21-year-old Demetrius Lloyd of Durham, is charged with resisting, delaying and obstructing officers and driving without a license. He's being held under a $5,000 bond.
