NC State fans are expecting big things from their men's basketball team with the announcement that C.J. Leslie, a 6-foot-8 forward ranked by Scout.com as the 12th-best high school senior in the country, has verbally committed to the school.

That according to the website PackPride.

Leslie, who plays for Word of God Christian Academy, has been a top recruiting target for schools across the country after he earned spots in the nation's two most prestigious high school all-star games, the McDonald's All American game and the Jordan Classic.

2010-2011 could be a big year for the Pack as Leslie leads a strong recruiting class that also includes top 25 point guard prospect Ryan Harrow and shooting guard Lorenzo Brown.
