Rex got the green light Tuesday to build a $60 million center. The facility will be dedicated to the treatment of cancer patients.
Rex says the center will help minimize travel to Chapel Hill and Durham for Wake County patients.
Construction is expected to begin in the fall of 2011 and a grand opening is scheduled for early 2014.
