Deputies charged 32-year-old Martin Delgado-Ramirez in March following a report from the Department of Social Services. Authorities say an indictment was handed down Friday and now Delago-Ramirez faces a charge of statutory rape.
The case began in March after DSS notified police of the situation involving the suspect and a 15-year-old girl.
The victim's mother also faces charges. The 41-year-old mother, who also was arrested in March, is charged with child abuse.
Delgado-Ramirez is being held under a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 30.
