Raleigh ready for Wide Open

Up to 75,000, that's the number of people the City of Raleigh estimates will head to downtown this weekend for Raleigh Wide Open Five.

The event runs all day Saturday on Fayetteville Street and the City Plaza. It started five years ago to celebrate the re-opening of Fayetteville Street and has grown into one of the largest downtown celebrations of the year.

Music, food and other entertainment will be on hand - including 24 bands on four stages.

It all wraps up with fireworks.
