Woman's body found inside Raleigh apartment

RALEIGH Police say someone called 911 around 2 p.m. Sunday to report that a resident had been badly injured. Officers responded to the call and once at the scene say they found a woman who had suffered cuts all over her body.

The woman, identified as 23-year-old Courtney Danielle Rosman, was transported to WakeMed and pronounced dead.

Police questioned several people but did not take anyone into custody. According to a police spokesperson, the case is not being investigated as a homicide.

A handful of neighbors also spent the evening at the scene; many knew the woman but were not sure what had happened.

Authorities remained on the scene Sunday evening and say the investigation in ongoing.
