Teen killed in Lee County crash

SANFORD

Troopers say 18-year-old Sebastian Talley of Cameron, N.C. died at the scene. The crash happened around 9 p.m. Saturday on Sanford.

Authorities say Talley was driving south on Highway 87 when he crossed the turning lane and hit a pickup truck.

Four members of the Fausz were injured, including two children. The extent of their injuries is not known.

Eyewitness who rushed to help the victims described the scene.

"My fiancée asked him to squeeze her hand," a witness told ABC11 Eyewitness News. "He squeezed it and wouldn't let go. And we had another guy that was on the back of the truck reaching into the back window -- holding the boy's hand and I was holding the wife's head, and my fiancée was holding the little girl's head to keep their necks stable and stuff."

Troopers say Talley was fatigued and may have been on his way home from work before crashing. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
