2 hospitalized after Knightdale wreck

KNIGHTDALE It happened around 1:30pm on Saturday at the intersection of Knightdale Boulevard and Parkside Commons Drive.

Witnesses tell ABC11 Eyewitness News that a van was heading eastbound on Knightdale Boulevard, when a car pulled out in front of it. They say the van t-boned the car hospitalizing the two people inside.

"I saw them pull out halfway and I knew it was gonna end bad, so I just slammed on the breaks as fast as I could, I'm just shocked, in shocked, shaken," Driver in the crash Edward Ochoa said. "About two weeks ago there was the same thing, they need to put a light here, it's really not safe."

Police have not released the condition of the two injured people.

Knightdale Boulevard was shut down for more than thirty minutes after the wreck.

Charges are still pending in the wreck.
