Woman indicted in boyfriend's murder

WAKE COUNTY On Tuesday afternoon, Wendy Green found herself facing a judge for the second time in the death of 51-year-old David Green, Jr.

Investigators say the couple's teenage children are also charged with felony conspiracy in Green's death.

In juvenile petitions, 17-year-old Alexis Green and her 15-year-old brother David Green III have been charged with murder.

Investigators say, not only was Green Jr.'s dismembered body frozen for more than a year, his children used his body parts for what is almost unimaginable.

According to a local newspaper, Green's children reportedly fed parts of their father's body to the family dog and put his dismembered limbs on display for visitors.

Court records show the Green family is no stranger to the law.

Alexis Green was already serving time for a burglary and failure to appear in court.

Authorities say the Greens had domestic and custody issues in the past, including an assault on Wendy Green in 2007. David Green, Jr. was arrested and charged in that incident. Court documents show Wendy sued for custody of the children and David Green wanted his name added to his daughter's birth certificate.

However, police remain tightlipped on a possible motive.

In the meantime, the family remains in jail under no bond.
