Fayetteville Police investigate homicide

Fayetteville Officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 5100 block of Watauga Road just before 9:30 p.m.

There, they found a male subject who had been shot.

The victim was transported for medical treatment but later died from his injuries at the hospital.

No additional information is being released.
