Arrests in school bus vandalism

Deputies said Thursday they have charged two people with vandalizing a half dozen Wayne County school buses.

On December 6, someone shot out windows on buses parked at Eastern Wayne Elementary School on New Hope Road with a pellet gun.

The cost to repair the damage is estimated at $2,700.

Now, 20-year-old Clauderris Raheem Woods of 183 Guinevere Lane, LaGrange is charged with misdemeanor willfully damaging a public school bus and misdemeanor weapon on school campus.

An unnamed 14-year-old was charged as a juvenile.
