Police said the robbery happened just after 6:30 p.m. at the Gold Factory at 5075 Morganton Road.
The victim was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with a gunshot wound. Police did not release information on the victim’s identity or condition Thursday night.
The two suspects left in a 4-door Mercedes SUV. There was visible damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Police said the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
