A spokesperson for American Airlines said a flight from JFK airport in New York to Miami landed at RDU after a passenger became disruptive. She would not obey the plane’s crew, so they decided to land.
The woman was removed from the plane and was questioned after the incident. Her name was not released.
The flight took off for Miami after a brief delay.
