2 killed in separate Fayetteville shootings

FAYETTEVILLE Police say 22-year-old Michael Ray Staggs was found dead in his car parked outside a food store at around 8 p.m. Saturday. He had been shot in the head, and the car was riddled with bullets.

A second man was killed in his apartment at around 1:25 a.m. Sunday. Police say 30-year-old Keith Lamont Cole was shot in the chest.

Police have not said if they think the shootings are related. No arrests have been made.
