Talcum powder identified as substance on RDU plane

American Airlines flight 1972 landed at RDU with an unidentifiable substance on board Wednesday night.

More than 100 people were on the plane that originated in Chicago. No injuries have been reported.

A HAZMAT team was dispatched to handle the substance, which turned out to be talcum powder.

The powder was discovered in the aircraft's bathroom.
