Police trying to ID person of interest in shooting

FAYETTEVILLE Investigators say on May 8 around 4:20 a.m., 23-year-old Rodriguez Odell Harris and 19-year-old Terrell Orlando Boykinwere were hit by gunfire at a home at 3921 Donna Street.

Harris died later that morning, while Boykin died at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on the next day.

Detectives say they want to talk to a person of interest, who was seen in surveillance video on the morning of the shooting.

They say they believe the person drove another man with a gunshot wound to the leg to Wake Med in Cary for medical attention.

Detectives have not been able to identify the man.
