Fatal crash a reminder about car seats

RALEIGH

The North Carolina Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Heather Lucas had her child in a seat when she lost control, but the straps weren't on tight enough.

The baby died after being thrown through the sunroof and crushed.

There are many places that will help you set up your carseat and use it properly. A great resource is the website: http://www.buckleupnc.org/
