Carter said his deputies were alerted to the relationship by a relative of the victim July 10.
Cenithia Anise Weaver, 29, of 236 Custer Avenue, Newark, N.J. is charged with one count of felony indecent liberties with a child and one count of misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
Carter said the victim is a 15-year-old from the West End area of Moore County.
Weaver's bond was set at $15,000.
