Army dedicates new FORSCOM headquarters

FORT BRAGG The combined headquarters of Forces Command and U.S. Army Reserve Command is one of the biggest projects to come from the base realignment that has made Bragg larger.

The realignment had the two commands relocate from Fort McPherson in Atlanta to Fort Bragg by Sept. 15.

The building, which is named for General George C. Marshall, will house about over 2,000 workers, mostly senior military people and federal civilian employees.
