Air Force responds to possible bomb threat

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C.

The 4th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was called in around 10 a.m. to assist local authorities with the possible threat on East Ash Street in Goldsboro.

The address given was for a check cashing business, but Chopper 11HD found the bomb squad at a place called "The Clubhouse."

Police said there was an unattended briefcase outside the business. A robot was used to open it, and nothing was found inside.
