Several of the families displaced by a fire on Christmas morning had the chance to pick out donated items for their new home. The fire ravaged seven units of the Greencastle Townhomes.

Now, thanks to the Green Chair Project on Capital Boulevard some of the victims have everything from furniture to dishes and electronics.

"She let us choose what we wanted for each room of our house, all of the things that we didn't have," said displaced resident Deidre Sinclair.

The Red Cross continues working with the families displaced by the fire.

Several victims have been offered new apartments in the same complex.

Centro Internacional de Raleigh is also helping fire victims with Christmas gifts and clothing needs.
