Authorities in Southern Pines have charged two teenagers for impersonating a law enforcement officer.

The teens, 17-year-old Reshaud Wright of Southern Pines and 18-year-old Vincent Michael Garzo of Vass, were arrested after police received a report about a vehicle using a blue/red light to get cars to pull over.

Shortly after midnight Tuesday, officers found the teens at a train station on NW Broad Street. Authorities seized a blue/red light along with a Taser at the scene.

Wright and Garzo were placed in the Moore County Jail under a $500 bond.
