Posting of Manning's restaurant tip leads to firing

He may have lost a $28 million bonus and his job but Peyton Manning isn't tightening the purse strings. A former server at the Angus Barn in Raleigh knows that too well.

A receipt from the restaurant posted online shows Manning gave a $200 tip on a more than $700 bill.

However, if you factor in the 18 percent gratuity that was already added to the bill, it actually means manning left a 50 percent tip.

Manning was in the Triangle last week with some former teammates.

However, there's a twist to this story. The Triangle Business Journal reports the Angus Barn has fired the server after learning the check went viral. They said it goes against their policy.
