Family, friends of murder victim rally for justice

RALEIGH

Around 4:45 p.m., a large group of protesters showed up on the steps of the courthouse demanding justice for Eleazar Herrera.

He was the Good Samaritan who was stabbed to death after stopping to help with a crash in Northeast Raleigh. Herrara did not know the people in the crash had just been involved in a home invasion.

The protestors chanted on the steps of the courthouse and then marched down Fayetteville Street.
