Three sought in Best Buy robbery

GARNER

Around 7:45 p.m. Monday, police said three African American men walked into the Best Buy at the White Oak Shopping Center. Within minutes, they picked up electronics and attempted to walkout of the store.

When employees confronted the suspects, one of them allegedly flashed a silver handgun. The suspects left the store and fled in a black late-model Nissan SUV/Crossover vehicle, possibly a Murano.

The suspects were last seen driving eastbound on I-40. They are described as clean-cut, in their late teens or early twenties.

Witnesses said the first suspect was about 5'6" to 5'7" and weighed about 150 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a red long-sleeve T-shirt, black pants and a black ball cap.

The second suspect was wearing a lime green short-sleeve T-shirt, jeans, white sneakers and a black ball cap. The third suspect was seen wearing a black short-sleeve T-shirt, khaki shorts, black socks, white sneakers and a black ball cap.
