Walker died Monday at the age of 93.
A viewing for Walker has been scheduled for Monday, April 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the B.N. Duke Auditorium on the campus of NCCU.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at Duke University Chapel.
The Walker family has established the Dr. LeRoy T. Walker Distinguished Professorship at NCCU and they have requested that donations be made to the fund in lieu of flowers.
