Separate crashes see people trapped inside vehicle

FAYETTEVILLE

The first accident happened shortly after 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning near the intersection of Old Raeford Road and South Raeford Road.

Fayetteville authorities said a pick-up truck towing a camper and a Chevy Cavalier collided.

The driver of the sedan was trapped in the car and had to be taken to the hospital.

The second accident happened at the intersection of Bragg Boulevard and Stamper Road around 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Investigators said a Ford F-150 Truck and a Honda Accord collided, trapping three people inside the overturned Honda.

All three people inside the car were taken to the hospital while all three people in the truck were not hurt.

Officials did not say what caused the accidents.
