The Nash County Sheriff's Office said Ray Peace was served with seven warrants on May 7 when he turned himself in.
Authorities said the incidents date back to 1982 and stem from an investigation that began last December. During the investigation, deputies said two victims claimed Peace was their former coach and had taken indecent liberties with them when they were between the ages of 11 and 15.
Deputies said the alleged incidents happened between 1982 and 1996 or 1997.
Peace was given a $10,000 unsecured bond.
