Poll: Perdue remains unpopular

It looks like North Carolinians are not cutting Gov. Bev Perdue a break as she prepares to leave the office. Perdue is at her highest disapproval rating ever in the latest Public Policy Polling's survey.

Fifty-seven percent of voters told the left-leaning pollster that they disapprove of her. That's compared to a 31 percent approval rating.

Of all of the governors that PPP is currently polling, Perdue has the worst disapproval rating.

Meanwhile, the legislature continues to be very unpopular with just 17 percent of voters approving of the job it's doing, while 57 percent disapproved.
