A Chicago-bound flight was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after taking off from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport Sunday morning due to an oil leak.

Airport spokesman Bob Rogers confirmed that staff discovered an oil leak in the engine of American Airlines Flight 1645 soon after the flight departed at 8:12 a.m.

The plane landed safely 20 minutes after take-off.

No injuries were reported, and all 138 passengers were rebooked on other flights.
