Thousands of turkeys perish in blaze

LA GRANGE, N.C.

Video from Chopper 11 showed the metal roof of a long turkey house buckled and collapsed in the heat of the blaze off Brothers Rd. in the La Grange area.

The cause of the fire - which was reported around 5:30 a.m. - was under investigation.
