The court appointed attorney for Duke lacrosse accuser Crystal Mangum is expected to ask Monday for a reduction in bail in addition to the dismissal of murder and larceny charges Mangum faces.

It is not the first time an attorney will be in court on Mangum's behalf to ask for a bail reduction from $200,000 to $50,000.

The 33-year-old has been in jail since the April 2011 death of Reginald Daye. Police said Mangum stabbed Daye, 46, in the chest during an argument at the apartment the couple shared in the 3000 block of Century Oaks Drive on April 3, 2011.

Daye was later taken off life support and died on April 6.

Mangum's lawyers have said she acted in self-defense and that a crime did not occur.
