At the show, Ron, along with one of his friends, ordered some items from Austin Outdoors which they say were supposed to be shipped to them.
"He said he would send it out the following Monday and we should get it by that Wednesday or Thursday. I allowed it to go on for two weeks figuring he got busy with all of his orders and everything, and I still didn't receive it," Ron said.
Then Ron called the owner of Austin Outdoors and he says he was told orders were backed up because of the show and that they would be delivered in one week.
"A week later, still nothing. I let it go. A week later, still nothing. I started getting aggravated so I called and he wouldn't answer his phone, took him a while. I'd send an e-mail and wouldn't get a response," Ron said.
Eventually Ron got a hold of the owner and got the same run around as before.
"Every once in a while I'd reach him and he'd give me some story that he had to put a whole bunch of orders together in order to get the product and it was coming from China and to give him another week. Well, another week turned into another week," Ron said
After four months of waiting, Ron turned to me. I got in touch with the owner of Austin Outdoors, and Ron got the bar he's been waiting for so he can finally use his tree stand. Ron's buddy also got the seat for his tree stand.
The owner said he communicated the entire time with Ron about the delays in getting the parts. He said that since the parts came from China they took longer than expected.
